BANK OFFICER DRIVES OFF WITH BRAND NEW NISSAN LIVINA WORTH RM85,665

Chee Hin Kiat is one happy man. He could not believe his ears when he received the call from F&N Dairies, to inform him he had won the grand prize of a brand new Nissan Livina 1.6 (A) worth RM 85,665 in the “Sunkist Fun and Thrills” contest.
Chee, a bank officer from Ipoh, submitted about 30 to 40 entries for this contest. He was quick to thank his family for their help and said that the car would bring all of them joy.
“I am still in shock. My family and I couldn’t be happier,” Chee beamed. “It’s definitely a combination of effort and sheer luck and we will use it as a family car.”
The Sunkist Fun and Thrills contest, which kicked off in March this year, ran for 12 weeks. Consumers had to use their creativity to match eight different Sunkist customer profiles to eight different Sunkist flavours. The consumer with the accurate answers would walk away with the grand prize.
Chee was not the only winner. First prize winner, Noor Azali Ayob from Pahang walked away with a 50” Plasma TV and Home Theater System worth RM 9,598, while second prize winner, Latifah Kamarul Jamal of Kelantan took home a Massage Chair worth RM 5,988. Three third prize winners, Yang Sit Kon of Pahang, Low Kum Meng of Selangor and Yong Fei Fei of Johor, received a laptop worth RM 3,859 each.
According to Ms Joselyn Sie, Group Product Manager, F&N Dairies (M) Sdn Bhd, Sunkist is one of the most recognized and timeless global brands and this contest is a way for the company to reinforce the brand’s unique expression of delivering the goodness of Mother Nature’s best citrus over the last 11 decades.
The winners were presented their prizes at an intimate ceremony held at F&N Dairies premises in Petaling Jaya. They were united in their appreciation for F&N Dairies and Sunkist in offering up opportunities such as this contest. Sie added that the looks on their faces when they were presented their prizes were thanks enough for the company.
“With a proud heritage in growing and harvesting the freshest, juiciest oranges, Sunkist is recognised for its consistent quality and flavourful products. This contest was aimed at reinforcing the brand’s messages and exciting our consumers and judging from the reaction of the winners, that is exactly what we have done,” Sie explained.
The “Sunkist Fun and Thrills” contest was launched in line with the unveiling of the new look for Sunkist, to enhance brand’s premium position and also reinforces the status of Sunkist and its equity as the best of California citrus which offers an uncompromising nutritious and refreshing experience.
